Families Moving Forward Hosting Week–April 13–20

 

Families Moving Forward is a program that houses homeless families at our church for one week at a time, three times a year. Help is needed in many areas including: Set Up, Take Down, Laundry, Donate Food, Dinner Team, Evening Host. We have a particular need for Overnight Hosts:

 

“Sleeping on an air mattress is okay – even for us grandparents – not quite like your own bed, but when you’re “in the midst” and compare your lack of comfort to what these families are going through, it’s easy to be thankful for what we have.”

“Sleeping on an air mattress in your own private classroom/bedroom is not a big deal to do 3-4 times a year...we think about our guests who think it’s wonderful to be in a safe, warm place to spend the night.”                                                                                                                                                           —Cathy & Paul Bremhorst

 

FMF Sign-Up Weekend is April 5-6. Please contact an FMF Coordinator to volunteer for Overnight Host or any other FMF job. FMF Coordinators:
