Guatemala Adult Pilgrimage 2017
For over fifteen years, adults from St. Pat’s have been traveling to Guatemala to gain a better understanding of our place in the global Catholic community. We have found so much more.
Please pray for the 16 adults who are traveling to Guatemala April 28-May 5 and follow their journey on their blog at: stpatsguatemala.wordpress.com
This global ministry is based on a decade-long friendship with the people of Cobán, Guatemala. Annually, pilgrims from St. Patrick's spend time at the monastery in Cobán, share faith, learn about the culture of Guatemala and distribute water filters. The Cobán Water Project purchases a simple water filtration system constructed in Guatemala City that catches rain water and purifies it. The units cost $50 and provide a family with clean water for years. Funds for the project are raised at the Gala for Brighter Tomorrows and through individual contributions. If you would like to donate or join a pilgrimage, please contact the Office of Social Justice. Gracias!
