The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
An approach to the religious formation of children. It is rooted in the Bible, the liturgy of the Church, and the educational principles of Maria Montessori. Children gather in an "Atrium," a room prepared for them, which contains simple yet beautiful materials that they use.

Contact & Registration
The Church of St. Patrick is always accepting new children aged 3 years old - 3rd grade. Children are welcome to start any time of the year as this program is a hands-on 1:1 teaching model & not classroom style.
This teaching year of 2025-2026, we currently offer 5 weekly Atrium sessions: Mondays - Thursdays with two Level I Atrium Sessions on Wednesdays and Thursdays and with three Level II Atrium Sessions offered on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. These sessions are designed to be once-a-week for 90-minutes during after school hours.
If you have a 1st or 2nd grader and you wish for him/her to receive the Sacraments of First Eucharist and First Reconciliation, we need to get him/her started this year so he/she will be ready to prepare for the Sacraments in our Level II Atrium during our 2026-2027 teaching year.
