COBAN CONNECTION

FOR OVER TWENTY YEARS ST. PAT'S PARISHIONERS (BOTH YOUNG AND OLD) HAVE BEEN TRAVELING TO COBAN, GUATEMALA TO GAIN A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF OUR PLACE IN THE GLOBAL CATHOLIC COMMUNITY.

WE HAVE FOUND SO MUCH MORE.

Through our partnership with monks at Resurrection Priory in Coban, Guatemala, we’ve had the opportunity to learn the true meaning of service which is both relational and action oriented.

We continue to support the monastery in their work serving the people of Coban and surrounding villages. Our support has grown to include The Water Project that delivers water filters to families without access to clean water.

The Coban Connection is an international relationship founded in Christ, compassion, and a commitment to serve our brothers and sisters. It is twenty years in the making, but only just beginning.

DONATE

You can donate on our online giving page above, or mail in a check to St. Patricks. Donations go towards supporting The Water Project or other special requests indicated on our giving page. $50 buys one water filter for a family and provides them with access to clean water for up to 10 years.

TRAVEL

Join us for an incredible pilgrimage and witness the magic of Coban first hand. We stay with the monks at Resurrection Priory, and travel into the mountains during the day for Mass, to deliver water filters and experience new adventures. Trips typically take place in the spring. Check the website for updates on upcoming trips.

PRAYER

Keep the monks, the people of Coban, and this continued connection in your prayers. "We serve life not because its broken, but because its holy" - Mother Teresa
